Art+Nature Camp JUNE 15-18, Ages 5-13
ART IS A HARMONY PARELLEL WITH NATURE. -Paul Cezanne
Those are words we live by here at Line+Form! In this summer camp your artists will experience how art and nature truly go hand in hand. The studio will be full of a variety of natural materials for campers to observe, paint, draw, print, and much more. Campers will be using the many outdoor spaces our campus provides, including the Terri Sisson Park, Bean Creek, as well as Garfield Park (including the Conservatory and Sunken Gardens).
Art+Nature Camp will take place the week of June 15-18th (Monday through Thursday) from 9-3pm for children ages 5-13 (with exceptions!). The camp will commence with a small gallery exhibit Thursday at 3pm, showcasing your children’s artwork. Caregivers are encouraged to invite other family and friends to attend. The art show truly is a highlight for the children, so the more the merrier!
All campers must bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and an afternoon snack each day. No electronics , soda, or toys are permitted in the studio. SPF and a change of clothes are encouraged.
NEW LOCATION THIS SUMMER! Camp will be hosted at Line+Form Art Center’s new home BEING ANNOUNCED SOON!
