ART IS A HARMONY PARELLEL WITH NATURE. -Paul Cezanne, French Artist 1839-1906

Those are words we live by here at LINE+form Atelier! Nature Studio is a time for children to come and experience art through natural materials. Minor direction will be given just to get the artists going, but this hour is for the children to explore and create freely! Over the course of 6 weeks we will examine multiple natural materials as well as fine art mediums, and explore how they work together. (How can I imprint this leaf on my clay bowl? What if I painted with a grass brush? Can I make my own pigments using these red flowers?) All materials are provided, but if the children have natural materials they'd like to bring, they are more than welcome! Appropriate for all ages.
