Imperfect Pet Portraits- Friday, September 18th 6-8pm

Learn how to create a fun, expressive portrait of your pet or favorite animal while embracing the beauty of imperfection. Illustrator Candice Hartsough will guide you through loosening up, finding shapes within your subject, and experimenting with mixed media such as brush pens and ink to create a one-of-a-kind piece. We’ll focus on play and experimentation rather than perfection, discovering how unexpected marks, loose lines, and happy accidents can bring your portrait to life. No previous drawing experience is required; just come ready to experiment, embrace the imperfect, and have fun!

Class is suitable for adults as well as children ages 8-15 (with paying and participating adult).

Class will take place in the Line+Form Classroom located inside the Contemporary Art Museum of Indianapolis, 1125 Cruft Street.
